Why is there such religious bigotry in Y!A politics?

This is a favorite place for liberals/gays/atheists to congregate and mock religion. They're obsessed with it themselves, but in a negative way. They have a psychological need to disprove the existance of God in their own mind becasue they're opposed to everything he represents. It's a futile effort, however; and the more they fail the more frustrated they become.
