What will happen if i drop out of college completely this semester?

I have fafsa and I got a full pell grant for it. However at the beginning I got really ill and missed a week and a half of cl and the following week my grandmother ped away...so I fell really behind. Along with falling behind I got starting getting depressed because of my gma and not being caught up in school. Due to all of that I started sleeping all the time and I couldnt make myself get up which was partly due to the fact I had something wrong with me along with I became anemic and my iron was borderline. Two weeks ago a very dear family friend ped away which put me even more behind than I already was. Point blank what is going to happen if I completely withdraw and start fresh in the spring since I am so far behind and I cant catch up enough to p my cles and I dont want F's on my transcript? Is there a way I can call and explain what has happened and they not hold it against me?
