What would you do with this situation?

I recently told a "friend of mine" that I thought was a col person that I am Muslim and thought he would be okay with it, but now he sends me an e mail telling me about Jesus and how God gave his son to die for me as he believes and all about Christianity and I just felt weird because he was shocked when I told him that I was a Mulim and so was his wife. My family also keeps on sending e e mails like those and they are very rude about the way they think and basically tell me that it is a shame that I have my different religious beliefs. How woud you deal with a situation like this where your family is tying to force you to be an Evangelical Christian and so are some people you call friends?
